1) Does it cost me any money to get a job through BTS?
Absolutely not. At BTS Staffing Inc. we view our employees as a valuable part of our team and, therefore, provide a service for you at no charge
2) How do I get started with BTS?
To start using our contract to hire, long term contract, or short term contract options, you need to register. Registration requires filling out an application either on-line or at one of our offices. If you complete the on-line application, we will contact you to set up an appointment for you to come in and finish the registration process. After completing the application, you will interview with one of our trained professionals. The short interview allows us to determine your skills, availability, and career goals. The interview also starts the process of building a working partnership with you. Following the interview your application will be entered into our database and will be kept on active status for 6 months. We will contact you when a job is available.
To start using our Direct Hire services you will need to submit a resume with a cover letter stating your interest in our direct hire program. We will contact you to conduct a phone interview to establish our working relationship.
3) Do I need to bring anything with me when I register?
The government requires you to provide identification when you apply for a job. Identification can be a passport, or both a photo id and a social security card/birth certificate. We encourage you to bring resumes, letters of reference, driving abstracts or any other useful information that can help us find the best position for you. Bringing all pertinent information with you when registering helps us to provide efficient service to both you and our clients.
4) How soon can I be employed?
It is our goal to find quality employment for you as soon as possible. You are eligible for employment as soon as you complete the registration process AND if you meet our employment standards. Some qualified applicants have started as quickly as the day they've registered. We will contact you to inform you of available positions for which you qualify. We will also set up any client interview or arrange for a start date on your behalf.
5) How often should I contact BTS if I'm not employed yet?
Because we strive to build a working partnership with you, we encourage you to keep in contact with our representatives at least once per week. We use an availability list to record your call-in activity. If your circumstances should change, such as transportation or availability, we would want to know as soon as possible. Each of our staff members is qualified to handle any questions that you may have.
